David Pennybaker, of Milton, Ky., waits for a ride near where he made an emergency landing with his Cessna 150 airplane on Sunday. The pilot said he had been flying his plane for about an hour when his engine began to sputter and he had to find a place to put it down.
"You can't do anything about an engine failure," Pennybaker said. "I had plenty of fuel."
The airplane was brought down in the field used for the driving range at Clifty Golf Range at the east junction of state roads 56 and 62 near Hanover.
Pennybaker, who was the only one in the airplane, said the front landing gear bent back in the mud, causing the nose of the plane to tip down.

Hickory Creek held their egg hunt early this year in order to keep from conflicting with the Big Brothers big sisters Bowl for Kids Sake on Saturday, April 4.
This year there were 2,200 plastic eggs, filled with candy and distributed into areas for different age groups to search out.
